Advantage Payment Services (APS) today announced an expanded multi-year agreement with Lakeside Federal Credit Union, a .4 billion institution serving over 180,000 members across the Midwest. Under the agreement, Lakeside will deploy Dispute Advantage — APS’s end-to-end dispute management platform — to automate its full Reg E dispute lifecycle, from intake through resolution and provisional credit issuance.
Partnering became easy
Prior to the partnership, Lakeside’s dispute team managed cardholder claims through a combination of manual spreadsheets and legacy core integrations, resulting in inconsistent handling times and elevated error rates during peak periods. With Dispute Advantage, the credit union gains automated case routing through Guardian, real-time cardholder visibility through Docket, and structured audit trails through AuditLens — reducing average handle time and ensuring consistent compliance with Regulation E’s ten-business-day provisional credit timeline.
“We evaluated several platforms, and APS stood out for its depth of Reg E-specific functionality and its willingness to configure the workflow around how our team actually operates,” said Lakeside’s VP of Retail Operations. “We expect to see meaningful reductions in manual work within the first quarter of go-live.” APS will begin onboarding Lakeside’s dispute team in Q2 2025, with full production deployment targeted for Q3.
