History
How We Got Here
APS was founded by the Campbell family in Fargo, North Dakota. The family’s first financial services venture, Advantage Credit Bureau, launched in 1992 and remains a thriving business today. APS grew from that foundation—more than three decades of building tools and relationships in regulated financial services.
That history shapes how we work. We’ve operated through regulatory shifts, technology changes, and market cycles. We’ve seen what breaks under pressure and what holds. APS Advantage is the product of that experience—not a startup theory, but a system built and proven across real institutions managing real risk.
